AcademiCognitive Connections

Nadia Braun is the founder of AcademiCognitive Connections. She is a bilingual Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP) that is fluent in Spanish and has over 23 years of experience working with students with disabilities in the home and school settings. She has worked as a School Psychologist in the public school setting for over 14 years and has experience working with students from 0-22 years of age of various disabilities.

While completing her under-graduate degree in Psychology at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD), Nadia first began her career working for a private agency providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children on the autism spectrum. She then went on to complete her Master's degree in School Psychology and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). During that time she worked for various ABA agencies and for the San Diego County Office of Education with the HOPE Infant Program. In 2006 Nadia began her career as a School Psychologist in the public school setting and in 2014 received her board certification from the American Board of School Neuropsychology. In 2018 Nadia began working independently as a Licensed Educational Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst to be able to work with students of various ability levels to help them reach maximum independence and success within their unique skill repertoire.

Nadia lives in San Diego with her husband and three children. When not working, she loves spending time with her family & friends, baking and doing outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and going to the beach.
